Hawaii was amazing. We did so much exploring this go round and really got to appreciate the beauty of Hawaii. The first full day we were there, we started off on a drive. After we had been on this tiny road for about an hour winding along the edge of the ocean on cliffs, we decided to get out the map and see exactly where we were and where we were going. About 4 miles previous there was a spot on the map that said, "dangerous terrain" and something like "do not go beyond this point, you rental policy does not cover you" to which we thought okay, now we are on a true adventure. So we continued and saw the most amazing cliffs and valleys and one lane roads ever. It was like the road to Hana but better. Well worth the risk. And yes, it was risky! The locals would come flying around the one lane curves, and not give you much room to get out of the way at all. -Here we are on the one lane road.
We saw a horse on the side of a moutain:
We did a good bit of laying out (with maximum sun protection sun screen of course). Here is the beach at our resort. I miss it already.
It was so peaceful and laid back. It was the perfect vacation. There is alot more to share, but I have no more time right now. Check back for parts 2 and 3.
