Scott's Birthday Weekend.

Poor Scott, it didn't seem to be much of a birthday weekend for him. Friday we celebrated by going out to Loca Luna- it was wonderful as always and our good friends the Wilkerson's (http://livingthehomelife.blogspot.com/) came with us and hung out at our house for cake afterwards. I surprised Scott with a birthday cake with the Volkswagen symbol on it, I just thought it would be a fun surprise. He really loves his car. :) He enjoyed the cake, it was home made by one of our friends at http://www.babybyrds.com/.

Isn't it sooo cute, she made homemade buttercream icing and all...yum-delicious!

Saturday Gracen, Stefan, and I hosted a shower for our great friend Nicole who is getting married in Florida on September 5th. We had a great turn out and Nicole got so many great gifts. But poor scott was exiled from the house for 2 hours :(.

On sunday we went and picked up a brand new bike. However it was for me, not Scott. Scott bought a road bike earlier in the year and has been really enthused about riding it, but needed a partner, so he kept looking for a bike for me. Well this week there was one just my size in the newspaper. So we called on it and brought it home. We went for our first ride on Sunday and I must say it was amazing! I just loved how fast we could go. What a beautiful city we live in!

I will have to take pictures of my bike when we go out again - maybe today. oh yeah, the best part about the bikes is that they match!!! :) Hopefully i can continue August as Scott's birthday month!!!
