With the knowledge of our newest project. We have decided to ramp up the rehabing of Rosetta. Don't get me wrong. Rosie started out more than adequately updated enough for the average home owner. But we really like to make a place our own, much like any other homeowner. :)
So the projects have begun. Scott had a week off from work for Christmas holiday and decided to demo our tiny tiny master bathroom. It was equipped with a tan colored toilet, and a tan fiberglass insert stall shower, along with a lovely bottom of the line white (which one of these doesn't belong) sink, with pipes exposed, leaving much to be desired. Oh and I almost forgot...linoleum. Nothing wrong with any of those items (except the colors) but for a house that was built in 1930, they just didn't seem quite right. So Scott took a saw to the shower, which had to be cut into 10 pieces b/c the whole thing wouldn't fit out the door, ripped up linoleum and removed everything else in the room. It looks like a small beautifully clean box right now. We got a steal of a deal on supplies for an all tile shower and floor, and will be posting later progression of that hopefully next week.
But first, why not update another portion of the kitchen! Late last week we realized our dishwasher was no longer draining...could have been easily fixable or not, we will never know. We Doose's like to find good deals though, so we were off on a mission! And we succeeded! Please excuse the quality of the pictures from my phone. But they will do it enough justice!
Before!
After!
Now onto the next project...guest bedroom/office/nursery switch up! With a possible dash of a mud room make over! And a Master Bath update!
